Energy storage lithium battery: It is a power source that uses lithium battery as energy storage. It is a secondary lithium battery that uses carbon material as negative electrode, lithium-containing compound as positive electrode, and uses non-aqueous electrolyte solution. Power lithium battery: Power lithium battery refers to the battery that provides power for transportation vehicles. Generally, compared with small batteries that provide energy for portable electronic devices, it is basically used in electric vehicles, electric trains, electric bicycles, and golf carts. The difference between the two: The definition of power battery and energy storage battery is relatively broad, which category do you refer to in terms of application. The energy storage battery generally has a small current and belongs to the energy type, and the power battery generally needs to be able to discharge at 3C. Power lithium batteries are generally used in equipment that requires high current discharge (3C-5C)


The automobile and motorcycle industries mainly provide electrical energy for the starting ignition of the engine and the use of on-board electronic equipment;


Industrial power system, used in power transmission and substations, providing closing current for power units, and providing backup power and communication power for public facilities;

Energy storage lithium battery energy storage management system: The scale of the energy storage system is very large, and the hardware generally adopts a two-layer or three-layer model. The larger scale tends to be a three-layer management system.


Power lithium battery energy storage management system: The power battery system is in a high-speed electric vehicle, and has higher requirements for the battery's power response speed and power characteristics, SOC estimation accuracy, and the number of state parameter calculations. There is only one layer of centralized or two layers of distributed, and basically there will be no three-layer situation. Small cars mainly use a one-layer centralized battery management system, and currently there are few two-layer distributed power battery management systems.


◆ Different types of lithium batteries are used

Lithium iron phosphate batteries are mainly used in energy storage lithium batteries, because lithium iron phosphate batteries are better than other batteries in terms of safety, environmental protection, volume, and weight. Lead-acid batteries and lead-carbon batteries are also used in some energy storage power stations.


The current mainstream battery types for power lithium battery electric vehicles are lithium iron phosphate batteries and ternary lithium batteries, which have many options and are not very stable in terms of safety.

The energy storage lithium battery is mainly used to provide power, and it is required to be able to output high power. Lithium battery packs are small in size and light in weight. The energy density of lithium batteries is 3 to 4 times that of lead-acid batteries, 2.5 times that of nickel-cadmium batteries, and 1.8 times that of nickel-metal hydride batteries.


Power lithium batteries are mainly used for energy storage, with large capacity requirements, long life requirements, and low self-discharge. Power tool batteries do not have a large capacity and do not need to provide high power output.


◆ Different current usage range

Power lithium batteries are generally used in equipment that requires high current discharge (3 ~ 5C), and the damage to the battery is relatively small. Energy storage lithium batteries are used in small current devices (usually 0.5 ~ 1C discharge range), where C refers to the charge and discharge rate, and the charge and discharge rate is a measure of the speed of discharge. Generally, the capacity of the battery can be detected by different discharge currents. For example, when a battery with a battery capacity of 100Ah is discharged with 15A, its discharge rate is 0.15C.
