Soft pack lithium-ion battery

A soft pack lithium-ion battery is simply a liquid lithium-ion battery covered with a polymer shell. In terms of structure, aluminum plastic film packaging is used, and in the event of safety hazards, the soft pack lithium-ion battery pack will only burst and crack at most.

Soft pack lithium-ion battery packs have good safety performance, unlike steel shell aluminum shell cells that can cause explosions.

Lightweight, the soft pack battery is 40% lighter than steel shell lithium batteries of the same capacity and 20% lighter than aluminum shell batteries.

Large capacity, soft pack lithium-ion battery packs have a capacity 10-15% higher than steel shell batteries of the same size, and 5-10% higher than aluminum shell batteries.

The internal resistance of soft pack batteries is smaller than that of lithium-ion batteries. Currently, the minimum internal resistance of domestic soft pack battery cells can reach below 35m, greatly reducing the battery's self consumption.

Flexible design, the shape of the soft pack lithium-ion battery pack can be customized according to customer needs, and new battery cell models can be developed.

Hard pack lithium-ion battery

Hard packaged lithium-ion batteries are further divided into cylindrical and square types. The difference from a soft pack lithium-ion battery pack is that the external packaging is a metal shell, so a hard pack lithium-ion battery of the same volume is much heavier than a soft pack lithium-ion battery.
