If you want to use power batteries for a longer and more efficient time, maintenance and upkeep of power batteries are essential. However, many friends may not know the basic requirements for battery maintenance and upkeep. Let's discuss together!
1) According to the characteristics of the battery, the power lithium-ion battery pack should meet the environmental conditions of its storage during storage and transportation. Please refer to the battery pack specification parameter table b for details to maximize the protection of the battery.
2) During the storage and transportation of power lithium-ion batteries, appropriate protection should be provided to maintain a SOC level of around 30%, ensuring that there is no short circuit or liquid entering the box, causing the battery pack to be immersed in liquids such as water, oil, etc.
3) If not in use temporarily, the power battery should be charged to a SOC level of about 50% and stored in a dry, clean, and well ventilated warehouse at 5 ℃~45 ℃.
4) Check the total battery voltage, single string voltage, quantitative relationship between single string and total voltage, and pressure difference level once a month. Immediately maintain and handle any issues found.
5) Open the box and inspect the battery pack once a month to see if there is any battery leakage. If you smell a pungent odor of electrolyte, notify a professional to promptly investigate and replace the leaking battery.
6) During the loading and unloading process of batteries, they should be handled with care and strictly prevented from falling, rolling, and heavy pressure. The storage battery shall not be placed upside down or horizontally, and mechanical shock or heavy pressure shall be avoided. It is strictly prohibited to expose the battery to the sun and rain.
To ensure the normal operation of the power battery pack, daily maintenance and upkeep must be carried out on the battery pack. For fleets with after-sales stationed personnel, the after-sales stationed personnel are responsible for the relevant work. For vehicles without stationed personnel, relevant job training must be provided to the vehicle maintenance personnel. After passing the training, they can take up the daily maintenance and upkeep of the battery pack. In order to ensure the performance and lifespan of the battery pack, in addition to daily maintenance and upkeep, it is necessary to regularly inspect the running vehicles; And make maintenance records according to the corresponding forms, as shown in the attachment. According to maintenance time, it is mainly divided into three types of maintenance: daily maintenance, weekly maintenance, and monthly maintenance;
