Attention should be paid to the usual use and maintenance of batteries. Some car owners have limited use of RVs, but in fact, most RVs have short commuting hours and may not be used for a long time. They only drive on weekends when they have free time.

If the car doesn't start, the battery will be out of use for a long time. You must turn off all the power sources on the RV and check if there is any discharge current in the battery. If there is, explain that you haven't turned off all the electrical appliances. Don't think that turning off some high-power appliances is enough, and even low-power appliances can completely consume the battery.

The built-in battery may already have discharge maintenance functions, but if you leave it with zero charge for a long time, it can also affect the battery's lifespan and even starve to death, resulting in situations where it cannot be charged or discharged. Batteries are chemical products that need to be used for a long time to maintain a relatively active state, otherwise it will cause the battery's chemical substances to reduce its lifespan.

Recharge power every 2-3 months when not in use.

If the battery has bulging, odor, abnormal noise, smoke, and other conditions, do not use it anymore. Call the manufacturer immediately for free replacement. If the battery experiences a short circuit or spontaneous combustion, please stay away immediately and do not attempt to extinguish it.

Which environment is more suitable for storing batteries? The storage temperature for aspirations is between 5 and 20 degrees, with a maximum of 50 degrees. So try to park your RV in a shaded area or put a protective cover on it to prevent high temperatures in the summer.

The environment for storing batteries should be kept dry, and batteries should not be placed in damp or leaking areas. The windows and skylights should be closed properly. If the battery does not have the function of soaking and waterproof, it is better to prevent the battery from being invalidated due to rainstorm.

To prevent water leakage from entering the local area of the battery and creating a short circuit when it rains. It is not allowed to place various flammable, combustible, and explosive items around the battery. Once these items have problems, they will have a more severe reaction with the battery. New and old batteries should also be stored separately.

The design capacity of the electric system of the RV is 3000W, and the inverter can ensure the normal operation of high-power electrical appliances such as air resonators and induction cookers. But the pressure on the power system will be too high. Try not to use high-power appliances together, especially when opening them together. Short term high current can cause battery short circuits and pose a danger.

Pay attention to the limitations of power consumption and do not use high-power appliances together. When you turn on the air conditioning, have to turn on the induction cooker to cook and eat, and use a hair dryer at the same time, it can cause excessive current, trigger the power maintenance system, and cause power outage and maintenance. RV batteries are bulky and expensive to repair, and most consumers cannot even send them back to the original factory for repair.

The power on RVs is very expensive, small appliances often leak and run out of power, and standby appliances often unknowingly run out of power.

A small mosquito killer can consume 20AH in one night. It should only be turned on when used and immediately turned off when not in use to prevent wasting unnecessary power.

Finally, it should be noted that the RV battery has maintenance components both inside and outside, forming a dual safety system. The integration of internal components is controlled by the BMS, and there is also an air switch outside.

After short circuit overload, maintenance will be carried out. If the current is too high, the air switch will turn off and we need to manually reset it ourselves. Batteries are the top priority for RV power.
