Common problems and solutions of lithium battery protection board.

Since the lithium battery protection board has been put into use for a long time and the scope of application is extremely widespread, most people have a doubt. What common problems will it present in the process of application and the corresponding solutions? Lithium battery protection board is a kind of circuit board composed of electronic components and PCB, which is prepared to monitor the voltage of the cell and the current of the charging and discharging circuit at all times in a certain temperature and humidity environment, and timely control the on-off of the current circuit. Since the lithium battery protection board is so important, we should understand some common problems of the maintenance board.



1. The MOS internal resistance is relatively stable and shows a large internal resistance. First of all, you should consider whether the internal resistance of the FUSE or PTC component is too large. If the resistance value of the FUSE or PTC component does not change, check the structure of the maintenance board to detect the through-hole resistance value between the P+, P-pad and the surface of the component. The through-hole may show a micro-break phenomenon and the resistance value is large.



2. If there is no problem with FUSE or PTC, it is necessary to check whether MOS is abnormal: first, make sure there is no problem with welding; Secondly, the thickness of the kanban (whether it can be easily bent) may lead to the abnormity of the pin weld during bending; Then put the mos tube under the microscope to observe whether it can break; The resistance value of MOS pin can be tested with a multimeter to see whether it can be broken down.



3. If the internal resistance is still large, we should use the probe to contact the lithium battery protection plate to see whether it can contact poorly or oxidize excessively. Secondly, we should also pay attention to whether there are more nickel sheets on the cell. If the number of nickel sheets on the cell is too large, it will also form the phenomenon of excessive internal resistance.
