(1) External short circuit: refers to the external short circuit of the battery, including the short circuit caused by poor internal insulation design of lithium ion battery pack and other factors. It may also be caused by improper operation. If the external circuit of the battery is short circuited and the electronic components do not cut off the circuit, then the large discharge of the lithium-ion battery will cause the battery temperature to rise, and excessive temperature will damage or directly damage the diaphragm inside the battery, which will lead to internal short circuit and lead to the explosion we are most worried about.

(2) Internal short circuit: once an internal short circuit occurs, the battery cell of the lithium-ion battery pack will release a large amount of current, generate a large amount of heat energy, and form a large amount of gas inside, resulting in excessive internal pressure of the power lithium-ion battery. When the pressure reaches the level that the battery shell cannot bear, explosion will occur

(3) Overcharge: When the battery cell is overcharged, the lithium in the positive pole may be released excessively, which will lead to the change of the battery structure. Lithium in the negative electrode is not inserted into the negative electrode, which will also lead to lithium precipitation on the surface. When the voltage is above 4.5V, the electrolyte will decompose and generate a large amount of gas. Overcharging may lead to liquid leakage, deformation, fire and other dangerous situations. If it is serious, it will cause explosion!
