The running range of a lithium battery electric vehicle at full charge is mainly related to the capacity of the lithium battery, as well as the use method and the quality of the lithium battery.


We use the 18650 lithium battery of 48v12AH to calculate. If the capacity of a single 18650 is 2000 MAH, the number of 18650 lithium batteries required is 12 * 6=72. If the price of a single 18650 lithium battery is about 5 or 6, the labor and material costs for packaging PACK are basically between 500 and 600.


Of course, the more expensive the lithium battery is, the larger the capacity of the lithium battery is, and the longer the running time will be. But this is just a general statement. First of all, do you want to know how far you want to go? According to the mileage, you can infer the lithium battery capacity you need. Two calculation methods are recommended here.


1. The lithium battery of electric vehicle is usually 48V20Ah. Assuming that the over-current is 10Ah and the battery discharge capacity is about 75% of the total charging capacity in normal use, then the driving time=75% × 20AH/10A=1.5 hours=90 minutes, released energy=48 × twenty × 75%=720W, the average speed should be between 20 horsepower and 25 horsepower x 1.5 hours=30-37.5 km.


2. How far can a 48V electric vehicle go on the road? Another simple way to calculate mileage is: mileage=battery capacity+(motor+rated voltage) × Average speed.


Calculate the approximate capacity of the lithium battery according to the above contents, and then consult and compare according to the battery capacity to understand how much the 48V battery is appropriate.


How far can lithium battery electric vehicles go?

The lithium battery of the General Electric Vehicle can run for 60 kilometers (the battery capacity is designed to vary from large to small). How far a 48V electric vehicle can run is also a big demand for the battery capacity of the vehicle. Generally speaking, it refers to a round trip in a day. The battery power and motor power determine the mileage. Now the size of electric vehicle motor is basically fixed, so the distance can be estimated.
