How to assemble lithium batteries for electric vehicles

(1) Preliminary materials, including stainless steel battery box, 60V24AH lithium battery assembled for electric vehicle, lithium battery must be electric vehicle power battery.

 

(2) A string of 20 lithium batteries, a total of 8 strings.

 

(3) 8 strings of lithium batteries are connected in parallel and insulated with separators and tape.

 

(4) The tape is fixed, and the protection wire is welded in series.

 

(5) Wrap and insulate the welded lithium battery with heat shrinkable film, connect the protection board, and insulate well to avoid short circuit.

 

(6) The short-circuit damage of the lithium battery is very large. After the heat shrinkable film wraps the lithium battery, the assembly of the lithium battery of the electric vehicle is completed, and it can be put into the electric vehicle.

 

 

Precautions for the use of lithium batteries for electric vehicles

(1) Temperature also has a great influence on the life of lithium batteries. The environment below freezing point may cause the lithium battery to be burned at the moment when the electric vehicle is turned on, and the overheated environment will reduce the capacity of the battery of the electric vehicle. Remember not to put the electric vehicle Sun exposure.

 

(2) High current, for example, 18650 battery is 3C discharge, your electric car is 8000W, the battery used is lower than the discharge current of your electric car, which will cause the lithium battery temperature to be too high, the current is too large, and the lifespan is shortened , There will also be a situation where the bulge will be invalid. If your electric vehicle has a very high power and a very fast speed, it is recommended to choose a 18650 battery with a current of 10C. It is obviously very important to choose a suitable battery.

 

(3) The full charge of the ternary lithium battery is 4.35V. At present, the protection boards on the market are all 4.2V before charging. Therefore, many people who buy lithium batteries for electric vehicles say that they do not have much nominal capacity. In fact, this is the case. The reason is that it is best to store the lithium battery of an electric vehicle for a long time, and it is best to charge 50/50 of the TV. For example, if you buy a new mobile phone, many of them are turned on at 50 percent of the power. If the battery is fully charged for a long time, the capacity of the lithium battery will be reduced. In addition to lithium iron phosphate and lithium titanate, these two can be stored at full power. It is also necessary to pay attention to choosing a better quality protection board. The biggest taboo of lithium batteries is overshoot and overdischarge. Void, the overshoot must also be voided. Lead-acid batteries for electric vehicles are still better than lithium batteries. As electric vehicle batteries, lead-acid batteries have its advantages in design. The advantage is that the open-circuit power supply it provides is relatively large (compared to lithium batteries). A 12V battery only needs to be made into one battery, and a lithium battery may need to be connected in series to form a battery pack when it is used as a power battery. In terms of power battery design, lead-acid batteries can be easily implemented, while lithium batteries need to encounter many problems in design, later charging, and application protection. From the perspective of manufacturing cost, the current power battery, the former needs to be met, and the latter is higher.
