How should UPS lithium battery be properly maintained?

However, due to the wide variety of raw materials, although the price of industrial lithium batteries will fluctuate to a certain extent, the fluctuation of indoor space is not easy to be very large, which is also closely related to the development trend of this field at this stage. For some small retail customers, it is possible to improve the interior space, but for some large customers, there is no advantage in these aspects. 1. When using a lithium-ion UPS, you should pay attention to various main parameters of the UPS, such as input operating voltage category, output waveform type, power, long power supply system time, conversion time, well-known lithium-ion brand, noise, equipment volume, net weight, etc. All kinds of UPS are not suitable for full load operation. More than 20% of the output power capacity should be embedded, and the load should run in the middle of 40%-60% of the rated power of the UPS


2. When the UPS power supply is not used for a long time, it should be turned on every time. For the reserved UPS, it is recommended to keep the UPS in the inverter power operation state for at least 2 to 3 minutes every month, so as to fully charge the battery and increase the service life of the rechargeable battery. When charging the battery, try to prevent the battery from overcurrent and overvoltage. Moderate charge and discharge help recharge the battery.


3. Master the basic knowledge of lithium-ion UPS, carefully read the operating instructions of the mechanical equipment, and understand the content of various warning messages, warning codes, meanings, causes and preventive measures of display lights. Learn about the functions of various power switches and keys on machines and equipment. Understand the actual operation of various ups, and clearly grasp their connections and interrelationships.


4. Strengthen daily inspection and maintenance, check whether the equipment has alarms, odors and abnormal noises, check whether the joints are loose, hot, whether the refrigeration and cooling fans are running normally, whether the various signs of mechanical equipment are normal, and solve the problem immediately.


5. Maintain proper working temperature. Operating temperature is a key factor affecting the service life of lithium battery ups. The optimal operating temperature specified by the rechargeable battery manufacturer is generally between 20-25 °C. Once the operating temperature exceeds 25°C, the number of battery cycles will be reduced every 10°C.


6. Reduce by half. Replace damaged rechargeable batteries immediately. In the continuous operation and application of Li-ion UPS power supply, it is difficult to avoid damage to some rechargeable batteries due to differences in characteristics and quality. When one or more rechargeable batteries in a lithium battery pack are damaged, maintenance personnel shall dispose of each rechargeable battery and conduct regular inspections and tests to remove the damaged rechargeable batteries.


7. The natural environment where the switching power supply is used should have good natural ventilation, which is conducive to heat dissipation and keeps the natural environment clean. Do not carry magnetic induction loads, such as cash counters, fluorescent lamps, central air conditioners, etc., so as not to damage the UPS power supply.


8. Do not close and open ups frequently. Usually, UPS power can be turned on again after being turned off for 6 seconds. Otherwise, the UPS power supply is likely to be in the state of "unsuccessful startup", that is, the UPS power supply is not in the state of voltage output or inverter power output.


9. Maintain UPS power supply. There is dust in the equipment, accurately measure the working voltage of the lithium battery pack, check the operation of the cooling fan, check and adjust the main parameters of the UPS power system software, etc.
