Lithium-ion battery features:

1. High energy density

The weight of lithium-ion batteries is half of that of nickel-cadmium batteries or nickel-hydrogen batteries of the same capacity, 20-30% of nickel-cadmium batteries, and 35-50% of nickel-hydrogen batteries.

2. High voltage

The working voltage of a single Li-ion battery is 3.7v (average), which is equivalent to three NiCd or NiMH batteries connected in series.

3. No pollution

Lithium-ion batteries do not contain harmful metals such as cadmium, lead, and mercury.

4. No metallic lithium

Lithium-ion batteries do not contain lithium metal and are therefore not subject to special transport rules, such as the ban on carrying lithium-ion batteries on passenger aircraft. 

5. High cycle life

Under normal circumstances, the charge and discharge cycles of lithium-ion batteries can exceed 500 times, and lithium iron phosphate (hereinafter referred to as iron phosphate) can reach 2,000 times.

6. No recall effect

The recall effect refers to the phenomenon that the capacity of nickel batteries decreases during charging and discharging. Lithium-ion batteries do not have this effect.

7. Fast charging

Constant current and constant voltage charger, plus 4.2v voltage, can fully charge the lithium-ion battery within 1.5~2.5 hours. The newly developed lithium-phosphorus iron battery can now be fully charged in 35 minutes.
